How do I open a document?
Method 1: To open a document simply right-click on a compatible file on your computer and choose "open with free document viewer". Wait for a moment and FREE Document Viewer will open and display your document. If you are unsure if your document is compatible with FREE Document Viewer, simply follow the steps above as described and the application will automatically attempt to open the file and render the text contained within.

Method 2: If FREE Document Viewer is already open, you may want to open the file from within the application. If the application is not already open, you will have to either launch the application or refer to "method 1" described above. From within the application, choose the "open" function in the top-left of the application toolbar, navigate to the file's location, select the file with a left mouseclick and choose "open". If you have trouble locating the file on your computer for whatever reason, please refer to "method 1" above.
How do I zoom in and out?
FREE Document Viewer allows you to zoom-in and zoom-out while viewing PDF documents to improve your viewing experience. Use the "+" and "-" buttons in the zoom toolbar to increase or decrease magnification of your document, or alternatively enter a numerical value corresponding to the specific percent magnification percentage you wish.

How do I navigate from page to page?
To navigate from page to page, use the arrows in the page navigation tool and enter the page number to move instantly to a page of your choosing. You can also enter a specific page number and press "enter" on your keyboard to go directly to the desired page.

How do I close a document?
To close a document, select the "close document" button in the top-left of the application toolbar or simply close FREE Document Viewer using the standard "X" button in the top-right of the application window next to the "minimize" and "maximize" buttons.
How do I navigate from page to page?

How do I use automatic document detection?
To open an unknown document simply right-click on the file and choose "open with free document viewer". Wait for a moment and FREE Document Viewer will automatically attempt to open the file and render the text contained within.
How do I copy & extract text?
FREE Document Viewer allows you to highlight text within the document, copy it, and paste it into another application or email. Using your mouse, left click and drag the point over the text you'd like to copy. Once highlighted, right click with your mouse and choose "copy" or use the command "Ctrl+C" to copy the selected text to the keyboard. You may now paste your text to an external application or email by right clicking with your mouse and clicking "paste" or using the "Ctrl+V" command on your keyboard.

How do I uninstall FREE Document Viewer?
To uninstall FREE Document Viewer, click on the "Start" button in Windows and go to "control panel". Once in the control panel, select "programs and features" which will populate a list of installed applications. Within the list, locate the item named "Freedocumentviewer" and click "uninstall" to start the uninstall process. Simply follow the instructions to completely remove FREE Document Viewer from your computer.
How do I perform a text search?
To find words or phrases within your document, simply type the word or phrase in the search box. FREE Document viewer will locate the word or phrase automatically as you type; use the arrows to scan through multiple occurrences as needed.

How do I save a document?
FREE Document Viewer allows you to save a copy of your document in a convenient location on your computer for future use. To save our document, click the "save" button next to the "open file" button located in the top left of the application toolbar. A dialogue box will open, navigate to the desired location on your computer, choose a name for your document and click save.
